London Mini Coaches have won the prestigious “Mini/Midi Coach of the Year” award at the Brighton Coach Rally held over the weekend, 22nd -23rd April 2006. David Phillips, Operations Director of the Company, which forms a part of the Anderson Travel Group of Companies is pictured here along with driver, Drew Reid receiving the trophy from the North Eastern Traffic Commissioner.
The vehicle a 25 seat, Mercedes, Sitcar Beluga bodied, luxury coach has been in service for a number of weeks having joined a further seven vehicles which now make up the London Mini Coaches fleet. “We still have an additional two more vehicles of the same type on order” said Mr Phillips “which are due in the next month, and reflect the fantastic demand we have had for our services since we commenced operations last May. This award is the best first birthday present we could have asked for” he added.
